About us

Immanuel Lutheran Church was founded in the earliest days of settlement in Idaho’s Magic Valley in May, 1909.  For the past century Immanuel, (whose name is translated from Hebrew as “God is with us!”) has proclaimed the Gospel truth of the Holy Bible in accordance with the Lutheran Confessions.

About Us

Currently, Immanuel conducts one Worship Service at 9:00 AM each Sunday morning. After the service, Christian education and Bible classes are offered for all ages. On any fifth Sunday in a month worship is followed by a fellowship breakfast. The Lord's Supper is celebrated on  the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.

Immanuel has conducted an outreach ministry through weekly broadcasts for more than 60 years.

‍Immanuel Lutheran School , founded in 1946, serves 160 students in Preschool through Fifth Grade, with an accredited academic curriculum, enriched by Bible study, and Christian ethics.

‍Immanuel Lutheran Child Development Center serves 95 children through day care services rich in academic content and Christian ideals.
